The Office of Inspector General (OIG) is responsible for the integrity of the $9 billion Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS), Arizona's Medicaid program. The OIG is also responsible for handling reports of fraud and abuse of the AHCCCS program.

AHCCCS is pleased to announce Mr. Glenn Prager as Inspector General effective January 3, 2012.

Mr. Prager has extensive government administration and investigative experience having served in both the United States Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. With over 19 years of progressive investigative experience, Mr. Prager has concentrated on the detection and deterrence of fraud, waste, and abuse in government programs, with specialized expertise in healthcare service programs.
