The Program Integrity Plan describes the role of AHCCCS in reducing and preventing Medicaid fraud, waste, and abuse. Given current fiscal challenges, program integrity efforts are particularly important. This Plan, which is updated regularly, proposes a variety of strategies designed to promote program integrity throughout all AHCCCS operations and ensure the best possible use of limited resources.
Federal Statutes and Rules Proposed Federal Rules
Proposed Steat Rules Governor Janice Brewer's Regulatory Review Plan, issued in January, 2009, suspended most rulemaking until June 30, 2011. Rulemaking that was already initiated will remain in proposed status until a public hearing can be held after the suspension period expires.
