The Dental Care Task Force was formed to bring
together the dental community, AHCCCS and its health
plans and advocates to improve the delivery of dental
services to AHCCCS children. They issued their final
report to the legislature in April, 1998.

ALTCS Consumer Satisfaction Surveys
The AHCCCS Long Term Care Consumer
Satisfaction Survey Project was conducted to
understand if the ALTCS System was meeting consumers'
needs and to plan accordingly.

External Quality Review Annual Reports
For purposes of compliance with the Balanced
Budget Act (BBA) of 1997, AHCCCS contracted with
External Quality Review Organizations (EQRO) to
assess the strengths and weaknesses of the AHCCCS
contracted health plans performance in relation to
timeliness, access, and quality of care. The EQRO's
based their assessment on the monitoring activities
of AHCCCS staff.

Hospital Outlier Claims Report to
the JLBC, November 2005
AHCCCS was required to report to the Joint
Legislative Budget Committee (JLBC) on hospital
inpatient outlier claims. The report primarily discussed
AHCCCS findings concerning the increase from 2001 to
2004 in the percent of inpatient claims that are now
being paid as outliers to hospitals.
