AHCCCS offers health insurance for eligible children (under 19 years old). For those
who qualify, there are no monthly premiums.
The applicant may qualify for this program if the applicant:
This chart shows how much money a person can receive each month before taxes (gross
monthly income) and other deductions are subtracted.
Income limits change every April 1.
If the child's income is too high for AHCCCS Health Insurance, the child may
qualify for KidsCare at a low monthly premium.
If the child is under age 26 and was in the custody of the Department of Economic Security (DES) and placed in a foster home or with a child welfare agency on the child's 18th birthday, the child may qualify for AHCCCS Health Insurance
regardless of how much money the child has.
