Notice of Settlement in Ball v. Betlach

As the result of the fairness hearing held October 22, 2012, the federal District Court Approved the Proposed Settlement Agreement on October 30, 2012. As part of the Settlement agreement, AHCCCS agreed to provide Plaintiffs an additional 24 months of gap reports. If the aggregate rate of gaps for authorized services is .1% or more for two consecutive months, Plaintiffs can request a meeting with AHCCCS to address the concerns, and, If not satisfied with AHCCCS’ efforts, Plaintiffs may seek judicial intervention.
