AHCCCS Announces Public Forums on Emergency Rule and Draft Policies for ALTCS HCBS Assessments for Children

The Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS) will host a series of public forums in November to share information and gather feedback on the Emergency Rule related to ALTCS Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) assessments for children under age 18.

The first two forums will provide an overview of the Emergency Rule, including what the Rule does, anticipated impacts, implementation timelines, and opportunities for public engagement. These two forums will offer the same content, so you do not need to attend both unless you wish to do so.

The second set of forums will offer a deeper dive into draft policies associated with the Emergency Rule. Attendees will learn about the policies released for public comment, how to submit feedback, and additional ways to stay involved. These two forums will offer the same content, so you do not need to attend both unless you wish to do so.
