The Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS) is hosting online forums to inform the community and gather feedback on the upcoming AHCCCS initiatives.

In accordance with A.R.S. 36-2903.09, the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS) is requesting an amendment to the 1115 Research and Demonstration Waiver. The waiver amendment seeks authority to implement community engagement or work requirements and a five-year maximum lifetime benefit limit for a portion of the AHCCCS Medicaid population. Titled “AHCCCS Works,” the waiver amendment is designed to provide low-income, “able-bodied adults” the tools needed to gain and maintain meaningful employment, job training, and education.

AHCCCS Provider Enrollment Forum: Directory and Related APEP Changes On Microsoft Teams

AHCCCS Provider Enrollment invites you to an open-door meeting to discuss a new Provider Directory scheduled to go live in June 2025 and related changes in the AHCCCS Provider Enrollment Portal (APEP). Please join us for the opportunity to gain a better understanding of the expectations regarding a new Provider Directory and related changes to the Locations Step in APEP. The AHCCCS Provider Enrollment team will provide visual examples to better explain and demonstrate upcoming changes. Following the brief presentation, there will be time for questions.

Thursday, March 20, 2025 - 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Jacob's Law Training On Microsoft Teams

Arizona House Bill 2442 was passed into lawin 2016, and became known as Jacob’s Law. It helped to correct many issues facing foster, kinship, and adopted children who receive behavioral health services.

This training covers the following:

  • Overview of Jacob’s Law,
  • Review and Use of the DCS Placement Packet,
  • Legal Rights & Protections for Children and Resource Parents, and
  • Covered Services.

Training length is two (2) hours. Certificate of attendance is available upon request after attending the full presentation

Join us to learn more about the Crisis services available to all Arizona residents and visitors. Services such as trained behavioral health experts available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide crisis intervention, support, and referrals.
