Monday, April 21, 2025 - 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. AHCCCS Community Forum: Arizona's Olmstead Plan On Zoom

Olmstead is a 1999 United States Supreme Court decision that provided a legal framework for the efforts of federal and state governments to integrate persons with disabilities, specifically those at risk of institutionalization, into their communities. Olmstead is intended to remove unnecessary segregation of members from the broader community and to ensure that members receive services in the most integrated setting appropriate to their needs.

During this Forum, AHCCCS will be highlighting certain accomplishments made within the Olmstead Plan, and soliciting feedback on the progress.

If you are interested in attending this forum to provide input on future Olmstead planning and/or to ask any questions related to the Olmstead Plan, it is strongly encouraged to read the Arizona Olmstead Plan on the AHCCCS Olmstead web page and come prepared to the forum with your questions/feedback.
