Behavioral Health Funding By Initiative
In response to increasing behavioral health needs of its populations, AHCCCS is providing funding to ensure ongoing system service capacity and member access to care. As detailed below, funding is provided through the RBHA capitation rates for Contract Year Ending (CYE) 2018 (October 1, 2017 through September 30, 2018) to address issues such as the opioid epidemic and other substance use disorder needs, as well as ensuring access to mandated EPSDT services for children in foster care and children with autism.
