Women Who Want Screening for Breast or Cervical Cancer
Before August 2, 2012
A woman who has been diagnosed with breast or cervical cancer or pre-cancerous cervical lesions through one of these screening processes may qualify for AHCCCS BCCTP:
- Arizona Department of Health Services - Well Women HealthCheck Program
- Hopi Women's Health Program
- Navajo Nation Breast and Cervical Cancer Prevention Program
On or after August 2, 2012:
A woman’s screening and diagnosis for breast or cervical cancer can also come from an Arizona licensed provider recognized by the Well Woman HealthCheck Program in addition to the three programs listed above.
There is no Medicaid eligibility income limit established for BCCTP. The requirement is to be screened under the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection program, which has an income limit of 250% FPL.
